Dr. Oz helps you to get rid of belly fat!

June 30th, 2009 healthiq No comments

Belly fat refers to visceral fat. It is deep inside the body system and is the most dangerous fat you can pile up. The health risks are severe, that’s why you have to get rid of it!

What causes belly fat?

Stress is an important factor, because our body requires more cortisol, which can lead to decreased metabolism and weight gain.

Sit-ups won’t help!

Although it will help to do your daily sit-ups, you can’t rely on that alone. Healthy eating and exercises should be combined to get the best results.

Aerobic exercise and weight training is a good way to keep your body in good shape. Read this Anti-Aging checklist for a list of exercises and watch Dr Oz’s 7-minute workout video.

Recommended foods for your daily diet:

  • Avocado (high protein)
  • Salmon (omega3)
  • Artichoke (high fiber)
  • Peppers (decrease appetite)

Subtract your age from 220 and multiply the result by “0.80″. Voilà, you just calculated your target heart rate.

If you reach your target heart rate too fast, you should work on your fitness.
